Mui Tsun Photography

From pregnancy through to teenage years, it’s my aim to capture the special quality of childhood, and to give you distinctive and personal images of these quickly passing times.

And, when a child’s gesture or certain smile is here today, then gone tomorrow, the immediacy of portrait photography is ideally suited to capturing such fragile, transient moments.

My Chinese name – Mui – means ‘plum blossom’. It symbolises strength, resilience and hope in Oriental culture, characteristics that I believe have helped me turn my passion for photography into a career.

And though the Norfolk countryside where I now live is very different from the bright lights of Hong Kong, it’s my home and a beautiful space I share with my partner and James, our seven-year-old son and my favourite model.

For me, whoever I’m photographing, the best picture is more than a good likeness, it’s the one that captures the uniqueness of the person you love and see.

To achieve that takes time and patience, especially with children. Relaxing and being natural can be difficult if you feel you’re part of a photographic queue, waiting in an unfamiliar portrait studio.

And that’s why I prefer to work at your home or one of your favourite locations, places that are familiar to your family, where I can give you the full and undivided attention needed to create beautiful portraits that can be treasured, now and for many years to come.

But images are nothing if hidden away, that’s why I’ve selected a range of deluxe portrait albums, slideshow DVDs, framed prints and wrapped canvas panels for you to choose from so you can share and enjoy them in a way that suits you best.

And since I genuinely want my images to bring you joy and pleasure, I’ll always offer you the very best in service. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with what I’ve done, I offer you a cast-iron refund of any fees you’ve paid. No questions asked.

If you like my work, then I’d love to be your child’s photographer. Get in touch today!
